The Association GUITAR ART ACADEMY was created with the objective of spreading musical culture in its many expressions, centering its activity in an ample facility for students of all ages.
Our association is available for study of every expression, genre and style of music (classical, ethnic, jazz, popular and folk).

GUITAR ART ACADEMY is dedicated to spreading the knowledge of guitar as it is present in various musical cultures, such as classical, flamenco, latin, jazz, blues, pop, as well as in general musical reading.
This school provides various guitar courses for musicians of all ages and all levels.
Beyond this, the Association seeks to spread musical culture to other organizations of concerts and seminars in Viterbo and all of Italy.
The Artistic Director of the Association and the school is Maestro Andrea Mercati.

The Objectives of The Association Guitar Art Academy:
1. To spread musical culture in each of its styles and expressions.
2. To involve children and adults of all ages in activities in our ample facility.
3. To offer activities open to any expression, genre and style of music (classical, ethnic, jazz, popular, and folk).
4. To offer activities revolving around the diffusion of all the the arts that connect deeply with music--dance, recitation, literature, visual arts, etc.
5. To offer activities revolving around the diffusion of musical instruments and each effort that creates music.
6. To offer activities revolving around the diffusion of knowledge of literature, technique, and the history of of the guitar, an instrument of innumerable possibilities of expression and sound.
7. To offer activities revolving around the diffusion of knowledge of the guitar present in various musical cultures: classical, flamenco, Latin American, jazz, blues, pop, and written music in general.

Meeting the Objectives:
In order to meet these objectives, the Guitar Art Academy will offer the following:
1. The institution of instrumental courses in general and courses in guitar in particular at many levels, professional, amateur, for children, adults and the elderly.
2. The organization of concerts, seminars, and training regarding the world of music.
3. The organization of teaching concerts presented in public and private schools of every grade, as well as to senior centers.
4. The institution of a music library in center of the Association Guitar Art Academy for the use of its clients to include an archive of compact disks of each musical genre and materials about music across the various styles and styles.
5. Make musicians and artists available to other organizations for concerts, shows, performances and lessons in the settings of their choice.
