IMPETUS FLAMENCO ENSEMBLE - FLAMENCO GROUP Viterbo:

In our performances we present a pure and traditional flamenco, covering a wide range of palos (genres), expressing the contagious joy and sensuality, the fascinating melodies and transcendent rhythms of Andalusian music.

To witness a flamenco musical performance means being ready to let oneself get swept away by contagious fun and sensuality.

Immersed in a crescendo of different states of soul; the performance is based on the purest and most traditional flamenco, where melodies, and instruments both guitar and violin are based on the energy and movement of the dancing, characterized by tumultuous steps and turning colured costumes, in a play of castanets, fans and mantones.

The intention is to reproduce the spirit of sensual and romantic Andalusian flamenco, where dancing becomes music and the movement of the body is totally interconnected whit the music.

Performance Program:

Palos of flamenco: Tientos, Tangos, Alegrias, Bulerias, Sevillanas, Malaguenas, Farruca, Tanguillo (all arranged by Andrea Mercati)

Classical music of Spain: Manuel De Falla Danza Espanola of La Vida Breve and Danza del Molinero.

Our flamenco concert lasts an hour and a half, but the duration of our performance can be adjusted to the needs of our clients.
